Sad to see Canada now has a two-tier Justice system. This is what we see in England where migrants receive lighter sentences over local residents. Gone are the days when Immigration was based on merit, not the colour of your skin.
We have to stop doing this. There is no reason to keep this person in Canada. If you come here from another country, you should be on your best behaviour. Committing any crime should be enough to have you removed.

If he is here on a student visa and has been suspended for school, then he is not a student and should be sent back to India.
