Independent senator joins Conservative caucus days after Carney’s new appointments
Independent Senator Jim Quinn has joined the Conservative Senate Caucus just one day after Prime Minister Mark Carney announced the appointment of his former chief strategist to the upper chamber.
Independent Senator Jim Quinn has joined the Conservative Senate Caucus just one day after Prime Minister Mark Carney announced the appointment of his former chief strategist to the upper chamber.
His decision to join the Conservative caucus follows a growing trend which saw three other senators do the same last year, including David Adams Richards, Dawn Anderson and Mary Jane McCallum.
