Two men face charges from the U.S. Department of Justice for operating an illegal immigrant human smuggling ring that flew Mexican and South American migrants into Canadian airports before illegally moving them across the country’s southern border into the U.S.

The defendants are Francisco Antonio Luna Rosado, 27, from the Dominican Republic, and Jesus Hernandez Ortiz, 37, a U.S. citizen from Puerto Rico. Luna Rosado is not legally allowed to be in the U.S.
