Hyundai recalls over 80,000 EV hybrid models

According to Transport Canada, the recall affects 81,646 of Hyundai’s 2025 Santa Cruz SUVs as well as its 2025 and 2026 Tucson model.

Automaker Hyundai has recalled more than 80,000 vehicles from two of its newer SUV models after reports that the brakes could activate unexpectedly, causing the vehicles to stop suddenly.

According to Transport Canada, the recall affects 81,646 Hyundai Santa Cruz SUVs from the 2025 model year, as well as 2025 and 2026 Tucson models.
