The Hudson’s Bay Company, the oldest incorporated merchandising company in the English-speaking world and Canada’s oldest company is preparing to liquidate all of its 96 stores across Canada.
There’s some really sloppy writing here. Long before confederation in 1870? Highly saught? Starting a paragraph with “for centuries since” with no reference to an earlier time?
Edumacation has gone down the tubes in the last 20 years , when i went to university there were no calculators allowed in test rooms , you had to figure things out on paper or in your head .
Sad to see the Bay go . Have not shopped there in 50 years as the quality of merchandise has gone down . Back in the day they had high quality merchandise ,I bought plenty from the Bay . It is more than just a store , it is Canada . Wish there were a way for the people of Canada to come together and save The Bay
Now if CBC can follow suit, Canada would be much better off , the money 1.2 billion to keep this lying machine going is not worth it!

Maybe Carney can convince the Board of Directors to move the Bay to NYC. He already has a penchant for companies to move there.
