What is the point of having a Parliament vote if it is not legally binding.

Symbolism is meaningless.

At a all in cost approx $410M per annum for 343 members. British aristocracy died on the first day of WW1. The current UK Prime Minister Starmer stated "calm, pragmatic approach" as Trump tariffs loom. Liberal Energy Minister stated "pragmatic" approach when in Calgary.

I personally believe we need to drive information based decision making and process changes into the HoC. The world is operating at optical speeds and the HoC is still in the previous century, or the one before that.

It would be hard to be more criminally irresponsible and deadly than the current and past 'Governments' of Canadahar. It would also be punishable by death.

At least Westminsterian ('Athenian' according to Dr Meat) Democracy is consistent. The Ethics Commissions too, are only symbolic. So is the Justice system. Symbolic... all of it. Not real.
