Yes, the RCMP allows Sikh members to wear turbans as part of their uniform, a change made in 1990 after a long-standing debate and advocacy from Baltej Singh Dhillon, the first Mountie to wear a turban.

Baltej Singh Dhillon (born 1966) is a Canadian politician and former police officer who was the first Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer to be allowed to wear a turban. He was appointed to the Canadian Senate by Liberal prime minister Justin Trudeau on February 7, 2025.

Hamilton police mandated Sikh temple training for officers

Hamilton police officers were ordered to visit a Sikh temple and attend a “cultural competency” training program on understanding Sikhism.

SO..the next steps are adding Punjabi to our third official language..and modifying our

national anthem..AGAIN!!??..More proof that our Constitution is written in pencil!!

This just unreal! They come here to escape their problems from where they left. And then they expect we should convert to beliefs, the very bs that caused their problems. When you migrat to another country you similate to it's customs. That's always been no matter where you go. If not don't bother coming here. Keep you bs beliefs to yourselves.
