A Delta, B.C., man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for the alleged sexual assault of a child is still on the national “Be On the Lookout” list of Canada’s most-wanted fugitives, with images of 26-year-old Gurkirat Singh resurfacing on social media.
Police say Singh sexually assaulted a child in Delta on Sept. 12, 2024. He is wanted to stand trial on charges of sexual assault, invitation to sexual touching and sexual interference of a person under 16.
Singh was also the subject of a May 23, 2025 Crime Stoppers appeal. The Delta Police Department’s Vulnerable Sector Unit says he has not been located and remains at large.
Police describe Singh as six feet tall, about 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, adding he may have changed his appearance.
Authorities note Singh is also listed on the national BOLO program, a public-facing list that highlights fugitives considered priorities for law-enforcement agencies.
The BOLO list is designed to draw attention to individuals police are urgently seeking by amplifying warrants through media campaigns, public alerts and rewards.
Anyone with information about Singh’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 or contact Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or submit a tip at solvecrime.ca, referencing Delta Police file 24-17457. Police say all tips can be provided anonymously.
