We have become another totalitarian govt. that is corrupt to the core. Canadians need to rise up and say enough... but it may be too late. Writing about it is not enough... what is the answer? We are allowing the east to dominate the narrative and will soon be controlling what we can say and think. Lots of news but nothing becomes of it.

If EVs were a good idea they would thrive without borrowing more money for subsidies. I won't have to pay for this vanity project debt, but my grand and great grandchildren will have to pay for it.

Carney has just picked up exactly where Trudeau left of in the destruction of Canada with a cabinet of stale Trudeau leftovers. Most peolpe cannot afford an EV and the infrastructure is NOT in place to support their use in Canada. Other than in good sized cities their use is not realistic based on Canada's weather and size.

CBC is nothing but the media voice of the Liberal party. Hardy anyone watches it and and no one can trust it's totally biased woke, leftist ideology. DEFUND the CBC!

With the Online News Act giving the CBC more millions, it is well past time to merely DEFUND it..abolish it..and the corrupt bastards who got even wealthier from it will be held accountable for their treachery..one way..or the other..

As well as getting rid of the EV mandate , we really need to rid the country of those who are advocating for it. No one asked Canadians if they wanted EV's. We are a democracy and majority should have decision making. I for one will never own one and I believe that in Canada no one can tell us what we have to drive. Time for an election!!!

Anyone who believes that the lieberals intend to have nothing but evs in the future is sadly miss calculating the lieberals intent. Their intention has very little to do with ev cars or no oil and gas, or the carbon emissions in the atmosphere. That's all a part of the great reset scheme. The scheme is for the result of turning this now busted landscape into a personal domain for a UN model with a reigning head such a king like dictator to carry out the directive of the UN. Think about it, we don't have the financial ability to do anything they are telling us we have to do. And to help out, they are flooding us with millions of displaced foreigners to help break us financially and mentally. Are we going to take that? I suggest all provinces should drop from confederation, and do their own thing. You'll be financially and mentally far better off.

In history, when things get to this point, there’s revolution. Canadians need to wake up!

yup..for sure..many times in the past, revolutions happened when the people were starving...and we've all seen the lineups at the food banks growing by the day..

Could be. But I think we have too many dopy people in this part of the world. To many on government support, and too many bureaucrats. It would be a fight to get the bums out of the road to get at the ones that we need to get at. Not to mention the complacency nature of citizens. It would take some initiative to get past that. Look at Africa they are so engrained into poverty they know of no other way. The best revolution would be for provinces to leave confederation. Then all that would be needed is a national council to take care of defence, equally represented.

The Online News Act was invented to fund the CBC. Is anybody surprised that the Liberal government designed a deceptive way to fund its propaganda machine? Liberals =🤮🤢.

Because we need a national television network. Not a perfect network. Before we can have a perfect network, you, I, and every other Canadian would have to be perfect. I am not perfect. None of us are. The cost of the CBC is not the issue. The cost the CBC has to pay to house itself is the issue. If that cost went diwn 66% it would be a lot better. Canadians are too greedy to lower housing costs for anyone. That is one reason why many are homeless. I don't want them to be homeless too.

Tell me, Robin..why you feel that way..what does the CBC actually do to earn the Billions of our tax $$ when their sponsors have pulled out support....their viewership is about 2% of the national audience....their former president Catherine Tait ..and their top dog CEOs received MILLIONS in bonus payments last year..(for a failing corporation) then proceeded to lay off 800 staff..(jounalists/ support staff..a week before Christmas!! Looking forward to your unbiased/ fact-checked response..

Worldwide EV 2025 sales are up 27% over 2024. How does this support your anti-EV hysteria. Juno News is starting to sound like CBC did in their hatchet jobs of those opposing mass immigration.

Where is the world headed? - electrification in all areas. It is time for Juno to start covering why this trend is happening rather than screaming Fascism, communism, or whatever other smear you can conjure up as clickbait.

Thanks ,now i can comment a bit more .Sales in China are growing because they are communists' . It is mandated. Here in North America , where We almost have choice 2% . If You like EV, go for it. Do not push this idea on Me that I have to have one . The technology is not at it's peak and the spent batteries are a problem for Me At least in a regular combustion engine batteries can be recycled . here are many more things I could say ,but You get the drift from Me of where I am going. As a simple consumer with no interest or possibly belief in climate change, your position makes sense. If you did understand the mechanism of a changing climate and wanted to pull your weight, you'd buy an EV as soon as you could afford it.
