Guelph police arrest two men for sex trafficking minors
Police allege the two suspects targeted and exploited the youths for sexual purposes and financial gain, with multiple Criminal Code offences identified over the course of the probe.
Guelph police say two men residing in Toronto have been arrested and charged in connection with a human trafficking investigation involving the alleged sexual exploitation of two youths from Guelph, with offences spanning several months and multiple Ontario cities.
The investigation was led by the Guelph Police Service Human Trafficking Unit and found that the alleged offences occurred between September 2025 and February 2026. Investigators say the victims were allegedly recruited and controlled through social media, specifically Snapchat, before being trafficked across southwestern Ontario.
