A very polished and professional writer, he demonstrated the fine political art of being able to speak out of both sides of his mouth at the same time. It's hard to take anyone seriously after that masterpiece.
The only correct definition of the current floor crossings is "A direct, frontal and criminal assault on our democracy. Your vote no longer counts".
The second, and most common tactic is to manage the news via headlines.
They understand that the vast majority of their readers scan the headlines only, skimming through the content. But the headline is the message. As with the constant, daily headlines questioning Poilievre's leadership and popularity.
Or the incessant fake polls which all spell doom and gloom for the Conservatives. They all have their desired effect. This "headline imprinting" is used in every single sector of political and economic reporting.
