Twenty-five diplomats were fired from Global Affairs Canada last year due to their behaviour, including one who was caught engaging in secret contact with a foreign government. Another 11 employees decided to immediately resign “before disciplinary action could be taken.”

In a government report titled Addressing Misconduct And Wrongdoing At Global Affairs Canada, which was later obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter, neither the fired diplomats nor the foreign state were identified.
