A recent Abacus poll highlights a stark generational divide between younger Canadians under 30 and seniors when it comes to priorities in the current election.
As a senior it boggles the mind that so many MSM watching grey hairs are seemingly ignoring what's happened in Canada over the past 10 years. Time to think seriously about the future of your kids and grandkids. Carney scares me more that Trump by a wide margin.
Tens for thousands of younger Canadians are heading south of the border where they will be better paid and able to afford a home. We are losing numerous health care workers. Nurses in many hospitals can work 8 rather that 12 hour shifts and select the shift they want. This was the case for my wife when we lived in Oregon. Hospital also contributed generously to her retirement fund. US hospitals are aggressively recruiting nurses from Canada.
Boomers "GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF THE SAND!" Younger people are our countries future.
Older Voters more worried about Trump, could you not see what was happening in the last 10 years.Taxpayers money was spent more outside of Canada than within.Canada needed to be fixed.Trump would not be doing this if Canada looked after Canada
Trump is annoying but he is not the problem, only a distraction.
Conservatives have our support. More seniors concerned about their children and grandchildren will move to give the Conservatives a chance with their vision of a stronger Canada.
The liberals are hoping we ignore the past 10 years or at least hang it all on Trudeau while ignoring Carney.
It still amazes me that seniors are voting liberal and trump is the main issue with so many other issues of importance. I am a senior but I watch limited main stream media…just enough to see what they are saying. I suspect that the seniors in question are not watching or listening to any alternative sources , ie truth instead of paid for propaganda.
We need some real change here where it comes to government ... We are having another election soon ... How about The Peoples Party with Maxime Bernier.? ... Unfortunately even Juno news won't give any airtime to the only candidate addressing the issues from a common sense standpoint ...Have we really come to accept that we can only vote for the least bad candidate ?
I've spoken to many seniors who are worried that Poilievres might tinker with CPP and OAS and other programs many seniors have been using to get by. All be has to do is one presser to clarify his situation and the Seniors numbers will change. All he talks about is working Seniors not seniors unable to work. And obviously there are many out there
So who credibly is making this assertion? At 77 I guess I qualify as older. We don't need more division by the Government controlled "media". I am fully supportive of fixing things the Liberals have made wrong. We need the young to be able to purchase a home and begin a family if they wish. This is a core issue to keeping our society from division and resentment.

It's insane how split this country is and how blind people still are after 10 years of retarded policy.
I believe polls as much as I believe in ocean front property in Arizona. However, the demographic tendencies reported do not surprise me.
My wife and I are over sixty five.
