Former Ontario NDP leader Stephen Lewis passed away on Tuesday at the age of 88. He is the father of newly elected federal NDP Leader Avi Lewis and comes from a multi-generational legacy of socialist politicians.
Lewis passed away in Toronto after a long battle with cancer while in hospice care on Tuesday morning, only days after his son’s political victory.
