Exactly. That seems to be the only way to get them to serve a 7 or 8 year sentence, unless of course they aren't white and didn't expose a so called " prime minister " as an absolute fool.
Non-citizens who commit crimes should be on the next plane back to whatever pest hole they came from. No exceptions, no extenuating circumstances. Good bye and good riddance.
Those on parole boards who approve release and judges who release the violent and career criminals into society should be held culpable as accessories to any crimes committed by the folks they release. The Catch and Release legal industry that farms criminals for profit is the core reason for career criminals to thrive as there are no consequences for committing a crime and legal expenses are part of the expenses of the business of being a criminal.
The other issue is that the big institutions and businesses who launder illegal money generate a federal tax cash flow when illicit (underground economy) money is laundered into the economy. This supports the illegal and illicit activities that generate money for organized crime.
Canada needs a legal industry reset that returns rule of law to the equation.
If you are a judge, you should be upholding the law no matter the colour, gender, etc. There should be consequences to breaking the law and the safety of the public should be uppermost. Instead, our activist judges are acting like social workers and basically ignoring the law which results in situations like the estranged wife being killed. It was so obvious that she was in great danger, but her safety obviously was not important to the judge.
So wonder the police officers are so frustrated when they do their jobs and arrest those breaking our laws and being a danger to the public only to see them released to commit more crimes. The family members of these victims should be able to sue the judges that let them out.
The elephant in the room is how easy the courts are on First Nations because of “generational trauma.” Give me strength. I am part Mohawk, part Metis and I have responsibility for my actions. I am not blaming white people and colonialism for anything, other than when I get a speeding ticket…
I think the government has enabled this by making the First Nations dependent on them. I knew some First Nations families in our high school (I grew up near the Six Nations reserves) who worked hard for their futures.
Everyone, no matter their race, should take responsibility for their own actions and not deflect blame elsewhere.
This case with Tamara Lich and Chris Barber is political. The government wants to punish them and make an example of them for standing up to the government.
Maybe we should be trying them for Mischief.

We need to name and shame the judges who are letting these criminals go free. Public needs to know in order to stop this behaviour.

Not for Tamara Lich, metis grandma. Just corrupt political commie canadian courts.

It’s disgusting and needs to be called out! We need reform NOW.
