Several First Nations have come out in strong opposition to proposed routes for a new oil pipeline from Alberta to the B.C. coast.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s government has floated multiple potential routes to ship crude oil to Asian markets, with plans to export up to one million barrels per day.
