I was raised on welfare. My dad left my mother with 8 kids and did not pay child support. Mom was left with no option but to go on welfare. She passed away at age 54. When we decided to sell her home, you can imagine our shock when we found that every payment she received from the government to raise her kids and have a roof over our heads was charged as a lean against our home.
If the indigenous want what they consider their ancestral land back, I think it only fair that the Canadian taxpayer receives every penny we have paid these individuals since the beginning. This includes reconciliation payments as well as monthly living welfare, education, housing and healthcare. They are trying to bite the hand that feeds them and frankly, I have had enough.
If this madness continues, pretty soon every property owning and land owning non-indigenous person will all be stripped of their "legally" purchased property and land.....This will spread like wildfire within every province until non-indigenous people loose all of their paid for and legally aquired property and have that turned over the indigenous tribes.....
All be led by lawyers! Canda govt supplying the money and lawyers to make this happen!! Lawyers walking away with billions from these outrageous court cases!
