Give it up people. You’ve not only lost ALL credibility, but you’re making TOTAL fools of yourselves.

For everyone’s sake, especially yours, PLEASE move on.

Tell them to shut up until they use some of 8 million dollars to excavate. We need receipts too.

Not a fucking dime more to these shysters until they dig up some bones, and the excavating overseen by whitey with cameras rolling so we can see for ourselves, total bullshit.

Lets be realistic, one can claim many things in life but to make assertions such as the discovery of unmarked graves is unacceptable when an excavation of these sites would put to rest the reality of it, so far many millions of dollars have probably been extended to this assertion by the indigenous peoples, and we desperately need 100% proof before this goes any further!!

A cpl months ago, my 3 Ojibwe nephews each received $200,000 as a reconciliation payment from the federal gov't..and they said all natives who qualified did as well...it was part of the $23.4 billion settlement a judge ordered the feds (our tax $$) for compensation. I suggest that if these people want to excavate ALL the known sights, they could all pool some of their payment toward paying for it..let's get this settled and either way we can ALL put it behind us..and move on....thoughts???

I hope your nephews do the right thing...it'll hurt less for those of us (I'm a senior who is still working as I can't afford to retire), who paid hard earned taxes so they would have this opportunity. I personally don't believe anyone should get money for this presumed need for reconciliation, since no physical evidence has been provided. And how does money fix this history of supposed abuse anyway? Everything we white people are supposed to be gulity of seems to be fixed with money...at least until the next offense.

The judge should be charged with misappropriation, or theft by conversion, of funds and pay it all back personally.

Absolutely ! this has to stop.. It was pointed out that indigenous living and working in the community were receiving large amounts of money periodically unaware of what's for but they take it of course. They shared it with others bought pickups and enjoyed life.

Show us the bodies then.

Digging these "graves" up wouldn't be a desecration of their "final resting place" because, according to you people, it's a dump site for murder victims and therefore a crime scene.

And if you're going to accuse Canadians of murder, then we have a right to examine the evidence.

Accusations aren't evidence. Evidence is evidence.

Until these bands start to excavate and find remains instead using an unreliable radar, the only thing they have found are anomalies in the ground. Claiming anything else is pure guess work and simply misinformation and fear mongering.

The common phrase is "no shit -Sherlock", but derogatory either way. Moreover, you are using the phrase as both an agreement and a dismissal.

"They will never dig up anything, it's against their culture." "You do not disturb a native burial site." Had these prior statements been written in crayon, you would have been explaining what, exactly?

Like every other legal proceeding, criminal trial, civil trial, evidence has to be provided as to prove a wrong doing, since when does "hearsay" prove any legal settlement with the complainant let alone court proceedings?

Then there are the fools who base their life and judgement on others just on "hearsay" alone, it's an epidemic of stupidness.

Makes me wonder, what good is the use of ground penetrating radar? Obvious by now, there are many other anaomolies underground and the radar doesn't appear to be able to discern from the surface any bone bearing remains and what are not. So, again, What Good Is Ground Penetrating Radar? A Media Scam?

it is too easy with too much financialreward to claim mistreatment and abuse. Surely one grave could be exhumed very carefully at each site without disturbing the skeleton to prove yes or no. Any claim can be made if disproving is not allowed.
