Following a report from Business in Vancouver (BIV) alleging that BC Conservative leadership candidate Kerry-Lynn Findlay is being investigated by Elections Canada for her campaign during the last federal election, Findlay posted on X denying the claims and raising concerns that she’s being targeted during a critical point in the leadership race.

Findlay insists that she had not received “any notice or communications” from Elections Canada or the elections commissioner regarding the complaint and had only learned of them via the media.

The allegations reported from Business in Vancouver state that an email was shown from “two sources” who said they received it in the last week from the Office of the Commissioner of Canada Elections, which allegedly began “conducting interviews and requesting information” related to Findlay’s campaign during her last run in federal politics last year.
