Findlay B.C. Conservative campaign rocked as manager backs Elliot
The resignation marks the latest shakeup in the B.C. Conservative leadership race, since former candidate and MLA Harman Bhangu withdrew to back Elliot’s campaign in February.
A campaign manager for Conservative leadership candidate Kerry-Lynne Findlay announced Tuesday he was stepping down and throwing his support behind opponent Caroline Elliot. Findlay has since disputed the characterization of former campaign manager David Denhoff’s role within her team.
Findlay is a former Conservative MP who served from 2011 to 2015 and again from 2019 to 2025. During her tenure, she held key roles in former prime minister Stephen Harper’s cabinet, including Minister of National Revenue and Associate Minister of National Defence. She later became Chief Opposition Whip under Pierre Poilievre.
