Alex, the minimum industrial carbon price is absolutely NOT $130 per tonne anywhere in Canada. It is $95 per tonne now, and was scheduled to go up to $110 per tonne on April 1, 2026, $125 per tonne on April 1, 2027, $140 per tonne on April 1, 2028, $155 per tonne on April 1, 2029 and $170 per tonne on April 1, 2030. None of these tax rates are $130. This was in the MOU, where it says: "Work collaboratively to design and commit to globally competitive, long-term carbon effective prices, carbon levy recycling protocols, and sector-specific stringency factors for large Alberta emitters in both the oil and gas and electricity sectors through Alberta’s TIER system. The TIER system will ramp up to a minimum effective creditprice of $130/tonne. The parties will conclude an agreement on industrial carbonpricing on or before April 1, 2026." You are a court reporter so no-one expects you to be an authority on carbon pricing. But if you don't know about it, just don't say anything. Don't spread misinformation.
Call them Anti-white workshops. Don't help the government lie.
