The Liberal government is funnelling over $260,000 in taxpayer money to an Ontario advocacy group that hosts workshops giving out free chest binders to women, minors and those who identify as trans.

Viviane Lapointe, the Liberal MP for Sudbury, announced Wednesday on behalf of Rechie Valdez, the Minister of Women and Gender Equality, that the federal government will be spending $264,433 on Sudbury Queers United Around Diversity (SQUAD) to “promote community safety, equality, and well-being across Greater Sudbury.”
