The federal NDP’s National Director Lucy Watson is stepping down after more than a decade in senior party roles provincially and federally.

In a message to party members circulated this week, Watson said her final day in the role will be May 8.

“It has been a true privilege to serve in this role,” Watson wrote, thanking party members, activists and staff for their support during her time with the party.
