Prime Minister Justin Trudeau regularly criticized other governments for proroguing Parliament in the past, but now his government finds itself defending the action in court.
Well I wish these fellows a lot of luck. But as we all know the courts are stacked with lieberal judges. So the case is pretty much predetermined. With the loss of the case putting another notch in the lieberals guns. So it's a risky thing they do.
Our Senate, which is SUPPOSED to be non-partisan is loaded with Trudeau appointed and possibly Liberal card carrying members who are BEHOLDEN to their Master. This is TOTALLY WRONG!! If our Senate cannot conduct themselves in a non-partisan fashion they need to be shown the door and leave without the Golden Handshake.
Of course, and they always have been appointed by liberal or conservative PMs. More liberal than conservative as liberals have been in power many more years than conservatives. In the US the senators are elected and the same number from each state. The senate has far more veto power in the US. Here the senate just votes the way the leading party tells them to. And that's usually liberal.
Trudeau may as well say that he is God because there are no checks and balances against total power in Canada. No Limits on Prorogation?? Well there certainly AUGHT to be. How else can the Canadian Public keep the loonies from doing whatever the hell they want
First, I support the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms and fervently hope that they win this case. Second, and perhaps many have forgotten the reason that Parliament was "paralyzed for months". The Liberal government was ordered to provide unredacted documents pertaining to the Sustainable Development Technologies Fund to the opposition parties and to this day have not complied. If the Liberal Party had done everything honestly and transparently regarding this fund, then why would they not release the documents as requested? Something rotten?? This is Democracy in Canada, people. Seems our government is just as bad as in USA. Food for thought.

All senate members should be voted in by the people.

I am fearful that China is so involved that Carney will become our dictator. He actually would be because he would be unelected by Canadians.
