Following a massive illegal tobacco bust that police described as being run “like a business,” a 30-year Winnipeg Police veteran explained to Juno News how the operation works. He notes that Canada is more likely an exporter rather than an importer of contraband tobacco.

Alberta RCMP arrested four Edmonton men on March 5, seizing nearly 202,500 illegal cigarettes and $53,000 in cash. The well-established operation even went as far as to hand out business cards, as reported by CTV News.
