The Toronto Star published an opinion piece by an Indigenous author, which falsely claims that the book published by True North, “Grave Error,” was “self-published,” and that the contents constituted a “vitriolic and hateful diatribe.”

In an opinion piece published by the Toronto Star on Tuesday and written by Michelle Good, the author of the fiction novel “Five Little Indians,” which is about the stories of five students living at a residential school, the author advocated for a federal ban on “residential school denialism.”
