Michael Oesch and his wife, Saskia van Tetering, believed they were doing the right thing by getting their COVID boosters on October 13, 2022. But as Michael now lies dying – paralyzed from spinal cord lesions diagnosed as atypical transverse myelitis of unknown idiopathy (origin) – the couple believes it was the fourth dose of Moderna’s Spikevax that changed everything.
“The reality is I'm dying and will not be alive by the end of this year from my (vaccine) injury. My legs will go, my arms will go, and then my lungs will go, and then I'll die. And who do I blame?” said Michael from his long-term care home in Dundas, Ontario.
