EXCLUSIVE: I posed as a parent at 30 Ontario schools to uncover gender club secrecy

Ontario elementary schools claim they don’t keep secrets from parents, but they acknowledge that elementary students may be “exploring their sexual identity” in school gender clubs.

Ontario elementary schools claim they don’t keep secrets from parents, but they acknowledge that elementary students may be “exploring their sexual identity” in school gender clubs while staff admit to encouraging children to uphold “confidentiality.”

To investigate concerns over a climate of secrecy in these clubs, I posed as a concerned parent and contacted more than 30 random Ontario elementary schools to ask a simple question: are children being told to keep secrets after gender and sexuality club meetings? The replies were surprising.
