Absolutely tragic, deeply saddening, and quickly far reaching even to overseas and our stateside neighbours' news streams.

A once strong, healthy northerly nation of multiple small remote communities exhibits growing cracks in society decline that are swallowing up our youth, our precious future generations......and it has largely been preventable, except for those who wilfully lead us down dangerous experimental ideological paths.
Our long elected liberal & ndp governments will respond with the predictable thoughts, prayers and shock in media scrums ....and will ignore the underlying issue; -of which they were both actively complicit in fostering and fanning for a decade. And in the fray of such raw tragedy, they will predictably move to capitalize in accelerating alarmism targeting everything but the root causes, with sweeping OiC's, special committees, escalation on controversial proposed Bills, and hastily creative new Bills.
We have every right to be enraged at such events.....the time is overdue for new governments and addressing systemic rot.

One of what appears to be two curiously similar but separate youtube accounts grimly posted a video short of the lyrics to "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster the People ...readily themed on troubled youth contemplating school violence, though the band claimed their intent in recording it was to highlight alienation, not glorify shootings (ya right ...now they have a problem).
The other youtube channel posts a cartoon self avatar with a rolled cigarette hanging on the lip (imagery referenced in the song lyrics on the other site). Posted 6mo ago, it suggests something pretty dark, long calculated, and inspired by popular song lyrics was deliberately posted visible as a forewarning.

In less than a year, British Columbia has endured another mass casualty event. In April of last year, a man drove a vehicle into a crowd at the Filipino Lapu-Lapu festival, killing 11 people. The perpetrator was struggling with serious mental health issues and was under close supervision at the time.
Yesterday, another mass casualty event occurred in Tumbler Ridge, this time involving a firearm and, apparently, mental health issues.
The vehicle attack has largely faded from public discussion, and the underlying mental health factors were never meaningfully addressed. When a firearm is involved, however, the public response is very different. It is unlikely this latest tragedy will fade quietly. There will be renewed calls for more gun control, while, once again, the root causes risk being left unexamined.
How is it that these mentally ill people have acess to guns? Wouldn't you as a parent get them out of the house the first time your son starts wearing female clothing? Thank the liberals for not only allowing this to happen but pushing Trans beliefs. People this Trans is a clear sign of mental illness. Not to mention our prime minister fully supports his Trans daughter

The killer of Charlie Kirk, a number of murders of parents, the car driver that killed celebrating Filipino folks in BC are just a very few examples!

This is tragic, my heart goes out to all the families and friends effected. But the govt will ride this wave for more gun laws and not address the real concern, that they themselves created, the mental illness involved with the indoctrination of the trans community by the govt, all govt, at every level has responsibility for this. This not a gun problem, this is a problem of too many weak minded people thinking gender is fluid, rather then address the mental health issue. For any govt employee out there, this is on you for allowing the DEI and SOGI to run rampant through our society. Canada needs to stop affirming mental illness and start treating it, 10 people might be alive today if this boy had received the psychological counselling he needed instead of pandering to a social contagion with zero science to back it up. This child needed counselling to help identify who and what he was and where he saw himself in the world5 years from now, perhaps such counselling was not available in the small community he resided, thats a whole different level of failure within this country! Every level of government across canada needs to recognize the blood on their hands by allowing the lunacy of gender ideology being legitimized in children. The male brain is not mature enough to make these types of life changing decisions until at least 25, many much closer to 30!

This is the time to attempt to make sure our governments start treating these events as serious as they are. Do not let them get away with not doing anything about mental illness and the implications involved in transgender “treatment”.
We question the manner of how the deceased died because we respect and value their lives, now cut short.
How long is a while? A week, a month, or a year - when most of the public will have forgotten?
This isn't politics, this is looking for answers to what happened. I can't imagine what's going on in the minds of the families, friends and community.
At the end of the day, the medical system running our lives has some work to do.
Good plan, ignor it and maybe it will go away, at least long enough to spin it into a far right problem rather than one created by woke progressive policies and school programming.
