A Conservative Party of B.C. member has sent a formal complaint to Elections B.C. and the party’s Leadership Election Organizing Committee, alleging that Caroline Elliott’s campaign breached rules on out-of-province funding after her supporters bought out 90 tickets to the Juno News-hosted leadership debate.

Steven Evans, a party member, informed Juno News in an email that he has filed a formal complaint with the party’s Leadership Election Organizing Committee and Elections B.C. against Elliott’s campaign, over what he alleges is a breach of party and election rules. No determination has been made by Elections B.C. or the party’s organizing committee regarding the complaint.
