We're so screwed as a country. We may not survive this liberal government. The spending is not sustainable & every solution always seems to be subsities. Subsities do not provide jobs or prosperity. They have no idea what they're doing. It feels like they're stumbling along waiting for the next great idea to come from Pierre because everything they've done so far has been Pierre's ideas. They have none. They can't see past their green ideology.

The Elbows Up Regime's false economy won't survive without taxpayer provided incentives.

The whole EV mandate and rebate is a colossal waste of money. They must be scrapped totally. If EV's are any good they will survive without either,

... Not to worry ...

The very last people to get it will be bureaucrats, Federal Liberals, our faux PM although perhaps when absolutely everything falls to that which one picks up after one's dog he may finally totally revoke the (now postponed) obscene EV mandate.

But the writing was and is on the wall.

You knew this was doomed to fail as soon as the guy with the weird sock fetish and his Liberal counterpart (Doug Fraud) in OntArWeOwe threw literally billions of taxpayer dollars that they didn't have at this doomed to fail venture.

... AND ... That does not even count the estimated Trillion dollars (yes you read that right) that would be required to supply the power for these vehicles that would be useless to all but urban dwellers.

But remember and this applies to absolutely everything that any Government touches..

Those nine words that should signal that a complete failure is going to happen.

"I'm from the Government and I'm here to help."

This government has no intentions of permanently, putting EVS on the back burner this year suspension is just a political ploy. We all know electric vehicles are coming. It has to be spread out until we have the appropriate infrastructure to support it in my opinion, leave it to industry to do it. They’ll do it efficiently and make it financially viable.

Not only that leave government out of the economy. Private industry and consumers can handle all forms of the economy. It is partly called supply and demand , free will . liberty. But this is against the government creed.
