Well, let u put it this way. The Canadians who voted for this very wealthy, entitled racist egotist who hides his money in over twenty locations including overseas, were the "useful idiots" of the Liberal Party. Except for the Red Guards on campuses and the techies, the young did not vote for him, as they were furious at their prospects of no jobs, temporary gig jobs, unaffordable housing, and the lack of prospects of having a family. It was those "comfortable high income pension seniors' , and not the seniors that must make decisions "is it going to be food, or housing or medicine", that voted for Carney. It was the public service employees who thought he would not get rid of many of them who voted for him. As the Brits stated to Canadians after the election-good luck with Carney. He destroyed our economy and he will now destroy yours.

Hey Bonnie, please don't generalise about seniors. I am one such - 80 years senior actually.

I live on a not-very-large pension - subsistence, actually. I did not vote for either Trudeau or Carny and never would. I despise everything about the Liberal party from its Cabinet of woke morons to the outright thieves like the 'other' Randy Boissonault. Canada has no enemies - except for the Liberal Party. And I know many other seniors who feel the same way.

Did you actually read the section where I stated " and not the seniors that must make decisions "is it going to be food, or housing out medicine, that voted for him".I am a senior as well and fortunately live in an affordable housing coop for seniors and even then it is a struggle.

Bonnie - I apologise - I missed that part. It's just that I've seen several other posts, on different subjects, that blame seniors, in general, for electing Trudeau and now Carny. I - ahem - generalised😔

And indeed - it was the spoiled 'living on a generous defined benefit pension' crowd that brought these evil SOBs back from the dead; retired teachers, municipal, provincial and federal civil servants couldn't wait for their Liberal master to once pummel the private sector into submission....

James: I'm another 80-plus senior who is pretty savvy to the machinations of the Liberals and their WEF-indoctrinated henchmen. The 'lost decade' under the Idiot-King has transformed this country I loved and was proud of into something completely unrecognizable. Marx Carnage is unfortunately smarter than Turdeau, and the recipient of some unearned praise for his 'business creds'. He will amp up the destruction his predecessor 'accomplished'....while continuing to flood Canada with third world trash.

Must be something about us 80 and up. We've all seen so much in our lives, better and simpler times. We can no longer play the politically correct games and can no longer call a spade anything but a spade, hoping for improvement. Ten years of rule by an arrogant, entitled 14-year old child, and now, that same smarmy dismissiveness imposed on us by the WEF in the form of a soulless, Globalist banker.

Early on in the Clown Prince of Papineau's reign - just about the time he fired Jody Wilson Raybault - I began to see what was coming. But I didn't realise how bad it would actually be. My brother and I used to commiserate and we said, almost simultaneously, "I'm glad I'm old. I won't have to put up with this much longer." I suspect that's a common sentiment from our demographic.

Back then, I was mostly kidding. Not so much anymore.

I weep for today's children, the descendants of the pioneering people who built this country.

Eloquently and - unfortunately - accurately expressed. Yes, I long for that simpler, more predictable, and honest way of life a few decades ago. Common bonds that meant 'Canadian'. Like you, I have reached a point of no longer being able to stay silent. I am learned, experienced and hopefully wise enough to recognize duplicity, hypocrisy, and a destructive agenda when I see it. You've accurately assessed Trudeau as a "14-year old child". My own assessment of his emotional and intellectual level of 'maturity as well. I will never forget the spectacle of him at the Taylor Swift concert: dancing with a group of teenaged girls, sporting a wrist full of concert bracelets...which he was trading with other 'Swifties'. This foppish narcissist will likely never be held to account for what he has stolen from so many decent Canadians. I feel rage and despair at the state of this once great country. And, like you, I am deeply concerned for the younger generations who will be burdened with what lies ahead.

I'm well over 70 and I didn't vote for Carney. I have read a fair bit about this guy and he has spent the past 10 years trying to eliminate fossil fuels. He has been a major global influence for Net Zero and now he is the PM of Canada a country that has the third largest reserve of oil. Does anyone think that he will invest in pipelines after spending a decade trying to eliminate the oil that runs through them. That is why I didn't vote for him; but that wasn't the only reason. He is a foundational member of the WEF and worked as a special envoy for the UN to convince bankers not to finance fossil fuel projects, plus he was advising Trudeau for some time. Knowing this there is no bloody way anyone should have voted for this grifter, this snake oil salesman. It makes me wonder what the population of this country was thinking about when they voted for this self described globalist and elitist. Globalist aren't called this for nothing; they want global control of the planet. So Carney isn't interested in helping this country; he has already doubled the deficit, he refuses to repeal C69, the no pipelines bill and C48 the oil tanker moratorium bill so that says everything to me. No pipeline company will even attempt to build a pipeline if bill C69 is still out there. The other thing is that he insists on keeping the industrial carbon tax which is a huge negative for any industry to come to Canada. So far he has done nothing; big talk and no action. He will hand a weakened Canada over to the globalists.

What do you mean by the "far right". It seems that anyone who doesn't vote Liberal or NDP is far right. I would be labelled as a "far right" citizen, because I believe in smaller but responsible governments, individual responsibility, an accountable government that is willing and able to assist those that are UNABLE to provide for themselves like the disabled, orphans, and in many cases widows and single mothers that have been abandoned. I do not believe in any government assistance to selected industries and definitely no assistance to the media industry. I believe in verifiable science; i.e. two sexes. Does that make me a far right citizen?

Bonnie, I don't know about the senior vote effect but there's a neat table in Wikipedia showing the numbers of seats that switched party between the 2021 and 2025 elections:

https://share.google/XYyJyhxGZIWbSNZjs

Elections to the 45th Parliament of Canada – seat changes (won/lost) by party, 2021–2025

Party 2021 Gain from (loss to) 2025

Lib Con NDP BQ Grn

Liberal 157 11(17) 7 11 169

Conservative 126 17(11) 10 1 1 144

New Democratic 24 (7) (10) 7

Bloc Québécois 34 (11) (1) 22

Green 2 (1) 1

Total 343 17(29) 11(29) 17 12 1 343

It was the NDP's collapse and the Bloc's losses that mainly explain the 2025 election results:

The Libs gained 12 seats: a net loss of 6 to the Cons, but gained 7 from the NDP and 11 from the Bloc without which, they'd have lost.

The Cons gained 18 seats: net gain of 6 from the Libs, 10 from NDP and 1 from each of the BQ and Grns. Other than losing his own seat, Poilievre has nothing to be ashamed of.

So, the Liberals owe their slim minority to the NDP collapse and Quebecers voting Lib instead of Bloc. The likely cause of that shift was the combination of the Trump tariff panic and Liberals dumping Trudeau with Carney replacing him (aided and abetted by Lib MSM).

True prosperity and peace comes from that Loving God who created this universe. Like that, Christians had the faith, courage and temerity to put together this country. God is smaller than an atom. But we need to believe in Him, in His Wealth, in His Benevolence and in His Grace. Then we need to act on that by treating each other with respect, honesty, patience, gratitude and wisdom. Then we need to pray. God listens to and accepts good prayers. For instance, a key element in any election is knocking on doors, to spread the word of the party we prefer. Also, we cannot predict how long the Carney government will last. My local MP said in a speech the NDP want to keep the seats they have by opposing Carney’s government. Finally, write a letter to your MP about how Carney is wasting money like crazy. If an MP gets 30 to 50 letters on a topic, he or she will definitely pay attention.

That would save the Western Colonies from having to be sodomised by the Federal Government which, like the CIA, "has 12 ways to sundown of screwing you up." They will never be allowed to leave nicely.

When will the less than 40% of eligible voters who voted for England and King Chuck - less than 10% of the population after you factor in electoral fraud, bribes and the breaking of all Parliamentary rules and customs - apologize for being total SSholes and handing Canada to the global bankster cartels?
