Beginning of citizen surveillance under the disguise of noise monitoring. If Edmonton has the guts , vote out your dictatorship city council. Good luck.

That's exactly it. This has little to do with vehicle noise. Just a lame excuse to monitor every word you say in public.

We already know about extremely loud vehicles/bikes. What good is a surveillance system? Get cracking and do something about it.

Really? What about crime? What about cleaning up the parks?

It's all part of the whack-a-mole movement. They invade and destroy on multiple fronts and ruin civil society. You get one thing resolved, there's 10 more.

I live near the Gardiner in Toronto and every night between midnight and 3, even 4 am, the jerks race their cars and motorcycles up and down, and all around Toronto. It's deliberate, it's part of the war on civil peace, I swear they must be paid by the likes of Soros. The politicians are paid off, so are the police. We were told the limit is 90 Dbs, but when they test the noise-makers, they always say it's just below at 88 Dbs. Such BS. Meanwhile, 1,000's, and 10,000's are not getting sleep.

All by design. It's the uglification that goes with the brutalist architecture. Being at peace with the environment is no longer allowed. Good luck Edmonton.
