The B.C. government has finally reached out to Richmond homeowners and small businesses rattled by the controversial Cowichan Title Lands decision, sending a letter promising “direct support."
This is pretty rich . Eby was behind this and now he tries to cover it up . I must say over the last number of years there must be something in the air from the ocean out there . All the states along the coast and BC are a special kind on stupid on how they vote . Sadly it appears to be contagious in Canada .
I watched a video of one of these Richmond homeowners who will be losing his property. In the video he stated that he voted for Eby's government last election. He likely voted NDP each and every election during his voting time. It looks like this guy as well as the the rest of the NDP voters have now gotten exactly what they voted for....I find it difficult to have sympathy for any of them.....The irony is incredible....
The concern for private property rights is very real. But let’s remember that 95% of B.C. is Crown land. Citizens will not be able to access public parks, may have to pay tolls to First Nations to travel from place,to place, and many other consequences if First Nations win aboriginal title over other areas. The Supreme Court has to reverse itself. Aboriginal title based on ancient hearsay evidence is nonsense
