Eby has his head in the sand and does not represent the majority if BC residents who see this in the National interest to improve Canada's economy. He needs to wake up to reality and stop increasing our already massive debt.

I dare you to have a referedum via an election on this issue..no mail in ballots, no earlh voting, no dominion cheating machines. You are destroying our economy and we need you gone.

You thought that perhaps "The BLOC" was the biggest threat to Canada and its possible (although now unlikely) future prosperity.

As it may turn out it my be the woke NDP joke by the name of EBY.

After all ... And amongst other things ..

Never let Indigenous support for this pipeline interfere with this sad joke of a politician.

{You see it's not only Liberals who are sad jokes in what used to be Canada.}

After all it's likely he's not even near finished giving away all of BC's land to any indigenous group that might claim it.

He fails to mention that it’s the tanker ban, bill c69, & the emissions cap that prevents a proponent from coming forward. Uncertainty.! It will not be taxpayer funded.The pipeline companies lost billions in the past do to cancellation of northern gateway, energy east, & keystone. Meanwhile oiltankers move freely up the St Lawrence bring Suadi Oil to eastern Canada!

" Team Canada " in action once again.

Alberta Independence is the only resolution to the continued insanity going on in what's left of this once great Country

Alberta should immediately begin negotiations with Yukon & Alaska to route a new pipeline North instead of West

A longer & likely more $$ route, but it has some benefits

Cuts BC out entirely (including any $$$ from licensing, etc)

A much more difficult route for the usual protesters to interfere

Lets take a page out of Toronto Mayor Chow's play book with respect to covering asylum seeker costs. Let's increase property and provincial taxes in BC to pay for our debt.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Let me be perfectly clear on Canada's debt situation given the recent US financial threat to seize our country.

1) CDN financial institutions, 4 US Hedge Funds and international institutions are NOT CHARITY ORGANIZATIONS. They want to be paid back for the loans and principal/interest on Canada bonds/treasuries. I estimate this obligation at $2.1T

2) The 4 US Hedge Funds hold a huge Canada bond position which could be cashed in at any time. How does the CDN Federal Gov pay for them? We HAVE NO GOLD RESERVE which is odd for a G7 country. I'm pretty sure the we little folk living under shamrocks will NOT part with their gold.

3) If the Canada Fed Gov defaults on the above obligations as stated in item 1, the US Hedge Funds will crash our credit rating . They'll use Credit Default Swaps (insurance) on the bonds and sell the bonds on the junk bond market.

4) AND, the 4 US Hedge Funds and international institutions will short the CDN financial institutions because the their revenue profile will be impacted by default on loans and principal/interest .

5) This will impact the CDN financial institutions ability to seek favorable terms from investors on stock issuance and notes. Who would invest in a CDN bank that holds bad loans? Look at TD's stock price when they were charged for money laundering in the USA.

6) Provincial credit ratings will be lowered due to the down draft of Canada's credit rating. This would result in higher yields on provincial bonds. Same for municipal government bonds.

Who holds more financial clout in this world between Mark Carney or US Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent? It should be noted that Scott Bessent made his millions from running a hedge fund, and his peers happen to be ... drum roll ... 4 US Hedge Funds.

The UK could be filing for bankruptcy any day. I prove my point https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/britain-is-broke-broken-new-government-declares-2024-07-27/

So, I highly suggest the provinces and indigenous communities get on board because the Liberal's budget (deficit spending) is based on securing funds from institutions. The institutions are asking "are the Liberals a safe bet?" in honouring their loans and fixed assets principal/interest. Given BC's publicized aversion to pipelines and tanker ships, this will impact the money required to service Canada's loans and fixed assets principal/interest.

"Moxey" Smith is the superstar in the eyes of the CDN financial institutions, 4 US Hedge Funds and international institutions. She wants to increase Canada's export revenue's to "balance the books".

Here is an article on BC debt bomb. All the junior mining companies are located in BC but their exploration mileage is clocked in other countries. Some publicly listed mining companies are HQ'ed outside Canada because of better tax treatments and mining policies.

I was wondering about the multiple trips to Europe to visit with his buddies. Nothing has been broadcasted through the media on any UK and EU trade agreements with Canada.

It should be noted that Trump Admin has left the solidification of China and Canada trade agreements to the last. There has been some minor agreements with China especially to deal with critical minerals. 90% of Canada's export revenue falls under CUSMA - business as usual. But why are China and Canada last?

Likely they are discussing wef matters, on how to put the screws to the peasants. And the tariffs on the US goods is bringing lots of revenue for the lieberals to blow on foreign bs. As far as the msm, they only broadcast what the lieberal government allows them to. Never watch the television bs, no matter what network. As it is either lies or twisted truth, with facts missing.

Let’s focus on those shovel-ready projects with real proponents that don’t have to be funded by taxpayers,” he said

I am pro pipelines but it does make sense to support privately funded projects and not have the burden of cost be on Canadian taxpayers this articles are a bit misleading. Pipelines should be built by oil and gas companies but all companies are scared to invest in Canada because mark carney plans to reduce oil production so the capital goes to other countries that are a safer bet. Exactly why Brookfield doesn’t want anything to do with Canadian pipelines.

It’s a “good” thing Eby and the B.C. NDP have given property rights to indigenous communities so he can’t stand in the way of development. He created the mess, and now he should have no say. Eby is a socialist clown.
