B.C. Premier David Eby on Thursday dismissed Alberta Premier Danielle Smith's calls to lift the federal West Coast tanker ban, saying her request has no basis in reality.
I take it you don't live in the lower mainland. And that's the one place that has a refinery for oil and gas. Natural gas, I believe Alberta supplies them. But northern BC has plenty of naturel gas. Of which is being exported.
The last time I was in the area was 2012.It didn't look much like it did in the 60s. Many brown and yellow faces hardly any white ones. I don't think you need to worry about your natural gas. Have good week end.
I agree with removing the ban on oil tankers on the west coast, I also don't believe we should be held hostage by the Indians...If this group would actually take responsibility for themselves they would not need any help from tax-payers, I say cut the Indians off and let the cards fall where they may! But your comment of BC not having any gas or oil is absurd, we have plenty of of crude oil and we also have four oil refineries in BC, so I politely say to you, do your home work before adding more division to Canada. And lastly, the majority of BC residents did not vote for Eby, our last provincial election was stolen, in fact the last provincial election proves the direction Canada is going, we are all losing our rights to a fair voting process. Most people I know in northern BC would separate with AB in a heartbeat. So please, do not continue to divide the the west and remember, BC needs AB as much as AB needs BC!
