Doug Ford REFUSES to support Poilievre ahead of leadership vote
Ontario Premier Doug Ford declined to offer his support for Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre as delegates gather in Calgary for the party’s leadership review.
Ontario Premier Doug Ford is refusing to offer support for Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre as Conservatives gather in Calgary for their national convention and leadership review.
Asked this week what level of backing Poilievre should receive from delegates, Ford brushed off the question, saying his focus remains on Ontario and the provincial Progressive Conservative convention taking place the same weekend. “That’s up to them,” Ford said, wishing federal Conservatives luck while making clear he would not be getting involved.
Plus, Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree says the federal gun buyback program is off to a strong start, even as several provinces, territories, and police services refuse to take part.
Canadian Coalition for Firearms Rights spokesperson Tracey Wilson joined Marc Patrone from Calgary, where she is attending the Conservative convention as a delegate. She criticized the buyback program, arguing it lacks national support and will not improve public safety, while noting that compliance among lawful gun owners remains low.
Conservative MP Andrew Lawton also joins the show to discuss the leadership review and the growing pushback against the federal gun buyback program.

Dougie.. Your decision of support for Poilievre IS yours to make...but it's the backstabbing and undermining him that kinda puts YOU in a bad light..
This is an easy one. Ford is a liberal in a conservative wrapper.
