Doug Ford congratulates homeowner for shooting intruder
A home invasion in Vaughan ended with an armed intruder shot and Ontario Premier Doug Ford praising the homeowner, saying, “Should have shot him a couple more times.”
Ontario Premier Doug Ford has congratulated a Vaughan homeowner for shooting an armed intruder during a home invasion.
The incident involved multiple suspects forcing their way into the residence overnight, prompting the homeowner—who was legally armed—to respond with gunfire before the suspects fled.
”I’m glad you shot the guy,” Premier Ford said, adding, “They need to be shot… should have shot him a couple more times as far as I’m concerned.”
Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights vice president Tracey Wilson joined Marc Patrone to discuss the incident in Vaughan, the rising interest in firearms for personal protection, and a shift toward stronger self-defence rights.
