In a move celebrated by hockey fans and patriots alike, Canadian icon and former Hockey Night in Canada host Don Cherry will receive the Order of Ontario for 2025 from the provincial government, recognizing his lasting contributions alongside 29 other notable individuals.

Don Cherry, a target of cancel culture was appointed to the Order of Ontario at 92.
