And everyone has the freedom to speak (or boo) and this IS the appropriate time

To do so!

Interesting how he never says he joined the Liberals. It's always, "joined the Government." It's almost like he's ashamed of something.

William Stewart's avatar

WELL...

He should be ashamed...

Then again he fled to the right party.

Liberals have no shame... He will fit right in with them.

A traitor at a gathering to remember and show respect for people of integrity and high values. He got what he deserved.

Just a bag of vomit.

Respect for a Remembrance event is unfortunately over-shadowed by the lack of respect shown by d'Entremont towards the Conservative voters who elected him into power.

He ran on the Conservative platform, and then showed contempt for it and for his constituents.

As a legion member, I'm surprised that command would approach him to lay a wreath in the first place.

As a former member I will neverenter a legion after Edgewood BC legion banned a decorated retired Vet and his service dog to kiss rcmp gestapo bum Not the honorable legion I knew 50 years ago.

Me too! The whole practice should ot be allowed! If D'worm hates the party he ran for so much, he should have quit and let the people elect who they want. The timing of his crossing is so obvious! Hope he got enough money and bonuses so he can sleep at night. Surprised he showed up at any event!!!

And the legion is not off the hook either! They shut down their morals during covid. Our veterans fought for freedom, and the legion followed along with covid stupidity "lest we forget ". They forgot!

I'm sure alot of veterans were proud of the people who booed this traitor. They fought to keep defectors out of our country. What happened to those who crossed over to the enemy in wartime. That's what this guy would have done cuz his boots got dirty

It's too bad it had to happen at Remembrance Day, but he deserved to be booed & I don't know why the Legion would choose such a traitor to represent them anyway. I'm pretty sure the Veterans would have joined in the booing.

Yes there is a time and place for everything, but today's govt gives us no voice and no chance to decide for ourselves. I wholeheartedly agree with the attendees booing this POS! Canada has fallen and because of this, it is time for no holds barred! It is time to take our Canada back and use every civil power we have to do this. I am not asking for violence, only the left wants violence and I will not stoop to their level! Canada be strong and stand, stand now to end this tyrannical, authoritarian govt! When we win, then we prosecute, we use the laws for traitors and we use the penalty for traitors...this alone will likely decrease Canada's population by 10%, it is not only politicians and bureaucrats that are traitors...we all mingle with traitors in our everyday lives...A sad, but true fact!

The legion tries to spin it, but its Chris who is the disgrace and should not have been there! He betrayed everyone!

The legion banned the decorated Vet and his service dog to kiss rcmp gestapo bum.

KZwick's avatar

Please clear this up buddy. The vet and his dog was banned why?

Rooky 55's avatar

Because the legion was kissing up to baby rcmp gestapo for money when the rcmp were terrorizing ostrich farmers and their neighbors. The legion made their choice and they are dead to me. I got my war amp key tags donation letter and for the first time I threw them into the trash.

I will say that Mr. d’Entremont earned every bit of booing that he received, and probably more. He is a typical professional politician, and clearly could care less about the people that voted for him, and is more concerned with his political aspirations. It shows a complete lack of self-awareness, arrogance, or both, that he thought it would be a good idea to even show up there. Duh.

Although the Legion and Remembrance day have been traditionally non partison, clearly the Lib/NDP/Green alliance of late is at best Marxist in nature and accelerating to full blown Communist. Once they've confiscated our guns, our speech and our homes/property, the cancellation of Remembrance day won't be far behind. Boo Hoo Angela.

Ohh... poor Chris ... its just a little backstab ... we can take it

you made it political when you invited him. Booing was appropriate
