David Eby announced his resignation as leader of the NDP following the overwhelming Conservative victory in the B.C. election.
“It is time for new leadership in our party,” Eby said.
At the time of writing, Eby is currently projected to win his riding of Vancouver—Point Grey by a narrow margin of just over 500 votes.
On X, Eby conceded his loss and congratulated Conservative leader and the new incumbent B.C. Premier Lorne Doerkson.
