Conservatives rally supporters after Liberals manufacture majority government
In the House of Commons on Tuesday, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre encouraged Canadians to engage politically and not give up hope for change.
Prime Minister Mark Carney has secured the first federal majority government in Canadian history through floor crossings and subsequent by-elections, but Conservatives are encouraging supporters not to give up hope for a change in government.
In the House of Commons on Tuesday, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre noted that the “costly majority” was “cobbled together” using backroom deals and politicians who ignored the will of their constituents. But he and other Conservative MPs are urging Canadians not to be discouraged from voting in the next election.
