The House of Commons Transportation Committee has voted to launch an investigation into the Liberal government’s financing of four BC Ferries vessels built by a Chinese state-owned shipyard.
The inquiry follows a Conservative motion approved Monday that will compel testimony from Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, Infrastructure Minister Gregor Robertson, the CEO of the Canada Infrastructure Bank, and the head of BC Ferries.
