Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre announced his plan for Conservatives to introduce a new bill aimed at spurring economic growth and development to counter the impact of U.S. tariffs on the economy.

Poilievre announced the “Canadian Sovereignty Act ” in Calgary on Thursday. He said Conservatives will introduce the bill in the next sitting of Parliament in the fall.
