Conservatives are taking aim at Prime Minister Mark Carney’s record after his deal with the U.S. over the Gordie Howe Bridge connecting Windsor, Ontario with Detroit, Michigan was revealed to hold major concessions despite Carney’s claims that it didn’t.

Shuvaloy Majumdar, the Conservative critic for U.S.-Canada relations, hosted a press conference today in Hamilton, Ontario, a significant site for Canada’s battle against American forces in the War of 1812, to call out Carney for both misleading Canadians and leaving Canada vulnerable to the U.S.
