Conservatives are demanding that Prime Minister Mark Carney immediately sell off his assets in Brookfield Asset Management and disclose the nearly 2,000 other Brookfield companies he profits from.
What are the odds that the most self absorbed, arrogant and self-caring PM Canada has ever had (didn't think that was possible after the last "sock" guy.,,, Think again) is willing to disclose exactly what he has let alone get rid of anything he holds with respect to Brookfield?

The conflict of interest rules and regulations that Parliament has in place are, like Canada's current PM a complete farce and not worth the paper (or computer space) they are documented on.
Moose on the Loose has covered Carney's extensive conflicts and has a very thorough chart detailing how everything is connected and how he profits from his decisions as PM. If the CBC or CTV or Global, etc would cover even a small percentage of his conflicts he would be done as PM. But Carney gets the media he pays for.
The blatant, in your face myriad of conflict of interests that Carney has with Brookfield are criminal....Just how is it that he is not under RCMP investigation for corruption?..This is a continuous and festering decade long conflict of interest repeating cycle but there is zero accountability or potential criminal or ethics violations investigations being done....These liberals are so corrupt that we now have a political, police, mainstream media refusing to report on corruption, courts and judges who are also so corrupted and politically controlled by the liberals that not one even one of these institutions dare to call it out, investigate or do anything about it..The massive corruption has penetrated every layer and all Canadian institutions.....

Brookfield is in all aspects of Canada and you don't know it. They rent me my hot water heater here in Toronto, have holdings in energy infrastructure out west, generate hydro power in North Western Ontario, dominate the insurance reinsurance business and so on. It is my largest holding in my RIF and obviously I love it but Carney is not eligible to hold it and he should be forced to sell it or get out of office.
