I was on a plane back from Europe about 15 years ago and there was an Indian family with a boy who clearly had significant behaviour problems. The plane just about didn't take off because of this. His father explained to me the primary reason for emigrating to Canada was for medical treatment for his son.
I wonder how many cases there are like this?
Also, people from many source countries are less healthy than Canadians which increases the per capita cost of their health care and our overall costs.

I agree and that is why we need more pipelines into the US to move oil which will never get to either the East or West coast. If a miracle happens and we get one to the West coast it will really help oil pricing on sales.

You are absolutely right. Try to find an affordable cotton garment for example. Most clothing is made from synthetic cloth produced from oil. When you do buy something cotton, it required oil to produce it from the field to your back.
