The article mentions Doug Ford's public stance? Which way is the wind blowing?

Ford has jumped on three consecutive bandwagons, megaphone in hand, all to do with crime.

The first rant was on car thieves, when he was a personal victim of an attempted carjacking.

Second, when a homeowner was arrested for defending himself against an armed invader.

Third, when smash-and-grab thieves calmly raided an LCBO store, on camera, unconcerned with the filming.

Ford's cosiness with Justin Trudeau, then Mark Carny and the Liberal Party is acknowledged, then dismissed as "that's just politics."

What nonsense.

The out of control crime in this country is the direct and sole responsibility of the Liberal Party.

The blame belongs squarely with this collection of sunny days, blue skies, rainbows and unicorn morons - and nowhere else. The ongoing rule of this Theater of the Absurd is due in no small part to Ford's active and ongoing support.

That Ford continues his virtue signalling to the masses, megaphone in hand, is next level hypocrisy.

Ontario elected a Conservative Premier. What they got instead, was Doug Ford.

He's JAFPolictician.

You have to watch the CBC interview. They actually defend the perpetrator. It was a pathetic demonstration of biased journalism. CBC should be ashamed of themselves.

A team of puppets who accept extravagant salaries and bonuses in exchange for broadcasting BS propaganda to the public who reluctantly fund them, have no shame. They're fulfilling their mandate of selling their souls to the Liberal Devils so both of them can survive.

And they do it willingly and knowingly, they sold their souls

They turn away when Muslims blatantly break the law and arrest innocent people defending their home. WHY??? If Poilievre wants to change the Self Defense laws he will also have to change the Gun Laws. As it stands now a legal gun owner can go to jail for simply loading his gun in his own home. Not right.

It is a good point that you make about firearms. Changing a law like the "self defense" law is quite a bit more complicated than people realize. If a firearm is involved in the case of a home owner, then all of the firearms laws and regulations come into play. Similarly with other "offensive weapons" as defined in the Criminal Code and regulations. Canada does not have USA type laws of constitutional guarantees regarding firearms. There is a lot more to it than simply drafting up a new law. Which is not to say that we should avoid the issue altogether -- a number of laws need to be rethought in this country.

I would suggest that we could be more like the U.S. in this regard.

Doug Ford is a Liberal - all talk no action. Hopefully Canadians can see how useless these people are and they are not interested in bringing forward laws that protect Canadians. We need laws that issue severe penalties (long jail terms) to deter the criminals. Right now we slap the wrists of criminals and prosecute the victims.

Doug Ford does nothing but bitch about things that he could actually fix but he'd rather give Carney a reach around. How about:

-Don't prosecute people for self defense.

-Do prosecute LCBO thefts. Starting with having tjose "security guatds" actually detaining people for arrest.

-Remove the deposit requirement for alcohol ( we've have a recycling program)

Fatty is a fish out of water he flips and flops every which way. All depending on who he is addressing.

Now who can he blame for not taking immediate action? Why did Ford not know this?

It would be easier to list what he does know.

Not much.

Has anyone else wondered why Carney continues to stall..blabs on more bullshit and does alotta posturing with Europe and the US??..He MUST know that the vast majority of true Canadians have known for years what he and his WEF/ UN/ CCP puppet masters are up to..(following Stewie Griffin"'s World Domination plans)..so why not just have the CBC announce that, and admit it?? ..what's holding him back?..Narcissistic egotistical fucknuts like him just revel in the attention and never hesitate to raise their arms in the air (elbows up!) and scream "I WIN"...but he continues stalling...any thoughts??

More political Big Talk from Ford, like turning off the power to New York. He talks tough but drops his elbows and leaves the stage when the questions start. That's probably why Carney, not Poilievre, is the one who's invited to his cottage - kindred spirits enjoying time together.

Read Carneys Communist Marxist book to know where he truly stands! Frightening that he was elected without proper research by those who voted for him. And watch how he makes us poorer again implementing a sneaky carbon tax on the highly questionable theory that the human generated carbon dioxide of 004 % of the atmosphere is an existential threat to mankind.

As far as Ezra Levant's comments are concerned about the police not prosecuting a person over a few joints, surely he is not saying there is an equivalence between police exercising some discretion over minor violations and police declining to prosecute a home owner who shoots, stabs, or beats an intruder with a baseball bat. I am not saying that home owner's can't defend their families or property, it's just that the gravity of the actions involved are completely different. It is comparing apple's and oranges.

Think about what you just said. An intruder has broken into your house almost always with a weapon. They are almost always seasoned criminals. You are tremendously frightened for your family and your safety. Why would you NOT shoot, stab or beat!!! They broke into your house!!!
