Conservative MP CROSSES FLOOR to join Carney's Liberals
Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux's floor-crossing sparks outrage among Alberta conservatives, draws fire from Pierre Poilievre, and intensifies the province’s independence debate.
Prime Minister Mark Carney has welcomed former Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux to his Liberal caucus, marking the third ex-Tory to cross the floor.
Jeneroux cites Carney’s “ambitious agenda” and his Davos speech as reasons for the switch, while Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre calls it a betrayal of voters.
Alberta independence advocate Jeff Rath joins Marc Patrone to discuss the political fallout, and why support for Alberta sovereignty is approaching 50% ahead of a potential fall 2026 referendum.

"Jeneroux cites Carney’s “ambitious agenda” and his Davos speech as reasons for the switch, while Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre calls it a betrayal of voters.'
A rewrite of wording that is far more accurate.
The act of betrayal by JENEROUX is the act of AN AMBITIOUS TRAITOR.
Makes sense though...
See picture at the top of the article ...
Two traitors shaking hands.
In a functional democracy the elected representative has been chosen by the People to represent the People and must remain loyal to the People. By crossing the floor, Jeneroux committed a betrayal of trust, confidence and faith to the electorate, otherwise known as Treason. It is also a failure of the democratic process. Shame on you Jeneroux! You are pathetic and never to be trusted.
