Canadians’ confidence in Prime Minister Mark Carney’s ability to secure a good trade deal for the country has taken a hit in recent months, dropping by eight percentage points this week compared to April.

According to a new survey by the Angus Reid Institute, “currently, two-in-five (43 per cent) say they believe Carney can deliver a good deal for Canada with the U.S.; half (51 per cent) said the same in April.”
